The five butchers, who murdered 15 homeless people, saw themselves as 'street cleaners' in a 'crusade' to rid Moscow of vagrants and drunks. The only woman in the gang, Elena Lobacheva, 26, 'laughed' during the slayings and admitted to detectives that she was inspired by a Hollywood horror movie Bride of Chucky, about a doll possessed by a serial killer. Tiffany Valentine-Ray also known as " The Bride of Chucky " is a murderous doll and a character in the Child's Play horror film series. As a human, Tiffany has bleached blonde hair and brown eyes, a gothic fashion style, and has a chest tattoo of a stabbed heart with Chucky written above it. After becoming a doll, Tiffany redoes her hair and makeup to resemble her human self, and wears a golden necklace that says "Tiff". Her appearance changes throughout the series: her lips become smaller, her hair becomes straighter, and her clothing changes. Tiffany, like her love interest, Chucky , wants to transfer her soul to the human protagonist. Both she and Chucky kill people; however, Tiffany appears to only kill people she feels deserve it, while Chucky is willing to kill anyone.

Horror and humor are twin sides of the same coin, and any movie that can make an audience scream before and after every laugh will come up heads at every toss. The profligately murderous and conclusively slain villain of the first three episodes is resurrected by his true love, but confined to the body of a plastic doll. The prolific killer thanks his doting mate for her kiss of life by taking her last breath and channeling her soul into a second plastic doll, better to match his own terror-toy existence. The couple hitches a ride with a pair of unsuspecting runaway teens and inspires dread and delight as they create a ludicrous count of corpses en route to disinterring their own.
