As Pride month approaches and corporations get in on the Pride action with rainbow-colored products galore, Donald Trump has now unveiled his own Pride merchandise. As his days in office ticked by, Trump issued a transgender military ban ; the White House ignored World AIDS Day; proposed a budget cut to global HIV programs; and proposed to roll back protections for transgender people in health care. This is probably the stupidest, most hypocritical, most ridiculous thing I have seen today. You can't make this shit up!

You have rights as a student in public school. You have the right to express your gender, and it is unlawful for your peers or teachers to harass or treat you differently because of your gender. No matter what sex you were assigned at birth, you have the right to cut your hair and wear your clothes in a way that matches your gender identity. If you have to wear a drape or tuxedo for your senior portrait, you have the right to wear whichever matches your gender identity. You have the right to be called by the gender pronouns that you specify. You also have the right to play on the sports team that matches your gender identity.

The merchandise has never been more plentiful or easier to find. Pride month has drawn a wide range of big-name retailers offering thematic merchandise timed to the celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights.
